Arrived on time in Kathmandu at 6.30a.m. but didn't catch to much sleep in the plane. Next morning up at 4 a.m. for the domestic flight to Lukla. Everyone of us 14 had a seat at the window, me on the left with phantastic views to the mountains. First day to Monjo, still a bit jetlaged and not to fast. Cloudy during that next days with rain at night. Next day Namche Bazar at 3450m with an acclimatization day where I made a few hour roundtrip to about 3900m to a place called Everest view hotel. The big boy stayed behind clouds, but Ama Dablam came out clear.
